{(BLOG TOUR + RELEASE DAY BLITZ)} BLOOD OF EVE BY PAM GODWIN

Release Day → October 29, 2015
Genre → Romance, Erotica, Apocalyptic Sci-fi, Horror

Two years into the aphid plague, there’s little hope left. Food and ammo are scarce. The mutated monsters are growing faster, smarter. And the ratio of men to women is millions to one. Mankind faces imminent extinction.

But Evie carries a cure for women.

Fiercely protected by three men, she sets out to heal as many infected females as possible. The journey becomes more complicated as her feelings for her guardians evolve, and theirs for her intensify.

When a voice from the past prophesies a solution for the dying race, she must make a choice.

Will she survive for love?

Or will she die for it?

A friend of mine recommended this author to me some time ago. What I did not know is that author is diverse in her writing ability. I love me some post apocalyptic reads, don't get me wrong I enjoy my romance but this just gets me ridiculously happy. Is that weird? Pros but I don't care I love a good book one that hooks me in from page one, keeps me intrigued and has me on the edge of my seat. This book HAS ALL THAT and more!!

To start off with this is the second book of the series. I read the first book in one sitting. This is usually ok but being a college student those hours could have been used elsewhere but Pam's writing is so fluid and smooth that I was lost in this world. Book two is no exception picking up where one left off.

Eve and her guardians Michio, Jesse and Roark are in pursuit of a cure for the virus that ravaged humankind. Eve is a strong protagonist that made me feel proud to be a woman. Then there are her guardians WHOA BABY! Each one brings something unique but together they protect Eve with a fierceness that is unbelievable yet so honorable. The unconditional love that flows between them, transcends barriers. I can't really get into depth because well I don't do spoilers and you need to experience this story for yourself.

This is the kind of books that I love the kind that grab me, place me in the story and hooks me so deeply that I can't do anything until every syllable is read. Pam Godwin has won me over with these books. Her writing is so smooth with no gaps that it flowed from one scene to the next that I couldn't put it down. Now I know most people say they can't get into this genre but trust me when I tell you that you will not be disappointed. There is HAWT parts in this book, like tear your clothes off, I need a cold shower scenes. Like I said Pam has a way of writing that blew me away. This genre can get stale, I mean there are only so many times you can read about a post apocalyptic world, but Pam, she gave it a new voice. It is refreshing and ultimately this is what I have been waiting for. There are intense moments but there are moments of laughter, moments of awe and wonder. I highly recommend these books and yes there is one more book and you better believe I will be reading it!!!

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Pam Godwin, lives in the Midwest with her husband, their two children, and a foulmouthed parrot. When she ran away, she traveled fourteen countries across five continents, attended three universities, and married the vocalist of her favorite rock band.

Java, tobacco, and dark romance novels are her favorite indulgences, and might be considered more unhealthy than her aversion to sleeping, eating meat, and dolls with blinking eyes.

About Naughty King (A Sexy Manhattan Fairytale: Part One): Amazon
Dirty Royals (A Sexy Manhattan Fairytale: Part Three) -- Coming Soon

Reading a series is fun. You get so much packed into a small amount of pages. Naughty King set the tone for this funny, quirky and sexy series. When we left off with Naughty King the protagonists were in a bit of a pickle. Having had too much to drink and being around Alexander's college friend Yamada didn't quite add up to what either Margo or Alex had in mind for fun.

This is where book 2 picks up and once again I was laughing at Yamada's craziness to the situation. Margo is freaking out but trying to play it cool because she refuses to break down in front of Alexander King. I love that Margo can take care of herself but she still has this vulnerable side that I can connect with. She is trying to help her father but she never signed up for this.

Alexander King is a cool put together guy. He knows what he wants and goes after it, but this? He never expected this to happen.

I know you are all probably saying well what is THIS? I can't tell you...well I could but then why would you want to read it if I give away too much info.

As we progress further and see Alexander and Margo's predicament we start to see that these two may just really care more for one another than they let on, but by the end I was left wondering does Alexander really care or only care for his company? I am willing to bet that the first is true only because in this book we get to see more of him with his guard down and it was cute and refreshing.

If you are looking for a series packed with a punch that makes you laugh and swoon then The Sexy Manhattan Fairytale is for you. It will not disappoint. I can't wait to see how this ends because honestly I think they both deserve to be happy.

Transparent Blog Tour

I've been waiting for this book and I'm so excited that I got to be apart of this blog tour

Her elusive past didn't worry me,
Her heartbreaking scars never made me cringe, And her haunting demons only made me a stronger man.
But the day Blake Martin was stolen from me, I was scared to death.
Prepared to do anything necessary to get her back, Little did I know it just might cost me my life. My name is Madden Decker, and this is my story.

His turbulent blue gaze cuts around the room until they land on where I’m curled up in a ball in the corner of the room, and when I don’t jump up right away, he begins to stalk in my direction.
“Did you hear me, girl? I said we have to leave. Right no—” He stops in his tracks once he takes notice of the spaghetti dinner the housekeeper, or at least that’s who I assume she was, delivered a short time ago, now splattered against the wall above where the plate it was served on lies in fragmented pieces on the floor. I tighten my grip on one of the porcelain shards entangled in my trembling fingers. The sharpest one I could find.
“What in the fuck did you do? Are you fucking crazy?” Boring a hole in me with an incredulous stare, he closes the distance between us and squats down to my level.
I keep my eyes trained on him, but say nothing. I’ve got a split-second to make the decision on whether to attempt an escape now with my makeshift weapon, or to wait until a better opportunity presents itself. All day, I’ve been trying to listen to the different muffled voices through the walls as I watched the cars come and go out the window, compiling as much information as possible about my whereabouts and the people in the house. I haven’t learned much except that Raze has been here with me the whole time.

After Anatoli informed me last night of my purpose here with the Russians, Raze escorted me back to the room—this room—where I was permitted to shower and given a bowl of chicken and rice to eat. The rest of the night I lay awake in the darkness, the sound of crickets in the trees, and my conflicting thoughts. Thoughts that ranged from planning my getaway, to wondering how sweet the revenge would be if I actually killed Vincent Ricci.

About a year ago I read the first book and I was so taken and shocked, mind you it takes a lot to shock me but Translucent WHOA...

Reading is a passion that can take you into new and exciting worlds. When one finds a series that stuns and unnerves that is when you know that the series is worth a read.

Pushing boundaries is what Erin Noelle likes to do and it works. She knows how to write to being shock elements, make you a bit uncomfortable but also makes sure the humanity, human spirit and will to overcome are also part of those elements.

In this riveting duology we find out what it will take one man to bring back the woman he loves. Madden will go through hell, he will make rash decisions all in the name of love. What I love is that he has never tried to push Blake, went slowly to help her heal, loved and loves her unwaveringly.

Blake is woman who has a crazy past but right when she begins to have a semblance of a normal life she is once again coming face to face with her past. It was nail biting to read because I had no clue what these people were going to do to this woman. She had to fight to survive and had finally found a way out and started a new life just to be thrust back in. I couldn't take it, what the hell?

We are also introduced to a new character and oh boy! Alright at first I was like OMFG I'm going to hate this dude. As time goes on you start to learn about him, his past and surprisingly he grew on me. It fucked with my head, I mean I should hate this guy, I should not like him but no as I said before Erin has a way of writing that brings out the humanity even in the "villains" that I soon found myself rooting for him. *Head spin* I can't even begin to pinpoint where the transition began but by the end Raze is my hero. He had me eating out of the palm of his hand and I found myself daydreaming of him and wanting to know his story.

While it took a while for Erin to write this book all I can say is that it was so worth it. Picasso didn't paint his masterpieces is days, sometimes it took him years and I feel that sometimes we in the indie community are spoiled because authors take less and less time between books but I would rather read a quality sequel that sucks me in so completely than to have a sub-par book that doesn't have me questioning my or the authors sanity.

DON'T MISS THE 1ST BOOK THAT STARTED IT ALL...

Sometimes you reach a point where you just can’t take any more — a breaking point, some call it.
The day I watched my husband murder the woman who was pregnant with his child, my point didn’t just break, it exploded like a full magazine’s worth of hollow points firing through the barrel of a fully-automatic AK-47.
Literally.
I am no longer his American Princess, nor am I his slave.
Now, I’m a murderer in hiding. My name was Bryleigh Carter Oliveira, and that was my story.
Translucent is one woman's story of breaking free, starting over, and learning to trust again through willful submission.
