My rating: 4 of 5 hearts

Synopsis:
You can be anyone for a night…

Alicia isn’t the kind of girl to kiss a total stranger up against the wall -- no matter how devastatingly sexy he is. But reeling from a broken heart, she runs straight into the arms of Dex Callahan: rock star, bad boy, and the most seductive man she’s ever known.

Dex is looking for distraction, at any price. The innocent redhead is just what he needs to keep his demons at bay -- but one taste of her sweetness isn’t enough. He needs to possess her, body and soul.

Two searching hearts. One night to discover the passion of a lifetime. Dex is determined to show Alicia the pleasure she’s been denied, but can she let go of her heartache and take a risk on the unknown? Find out in the sizzling new novella from USA Today bestselling author, Melody Grace!

Can I just say how disappointed I am? I mean it's so disappointing when you're all involved, loving a book ... Then you look down and notice you're at 80%. I mean that's like heart breaking. Ok were going to play this one like a pros and cons list since it was a novella.

Pros- Dex is hot as hell
He knows how to please a woman
He's good with words
He's a rocker
Alicia and Dex have immediate steamy chemistry
Dex had demons and we know how we love those broken men
She's in love with someone else. Broken+broken= amazing
Melody has an amazing writing style. Super smooth and effortless.
You immediately connect with the characters.
You're left wanting more.

Cons
Alicia keeps comparing how she feels with Dex to a man who doesn't want her. Boo honey, he's not worth it.
You don't know the full story of either character yet.
What is she running from crying?
Ummmm... It's over!

I can't help but be left wanting more. And of course I'm wondering if Alicia is going to be able to handle a week with Dex. Not only that, will she find her backbone? She seems just a tad like a pushover. But all in all I reaaaaalllllllly liked it and can't wait to see where this goes.

I give this 4 hearts
