Reapers Legacy and Reapers Property Spotlight/Review Blog Tour

Reaper’s Legacy
WELCOME TO THE CLUB

Eight years ago, Sophie gave her heart—and her virginity—to Zach Barrett on a night that couldn’t have been less romantic or more
embarrassing. Zach’s step-brother, a steely-muscled, tattooed biker named Ruger, caught them in the act, getting a peep show of Sophie he’s never forgotten.

She may have lost her dignity that fateful night, but Sophie also gained something precious—her son Noah. Unfortunately, Zach’s a deadbeat dad, leaving Ruger to be Noah’s only male role model.

When he discovers Sophie and his nephew living in near poverty, Ruger takes matters into his own hands—with the help of the Reapers Motorcycle Club—to give them a better life.

Living with outlaw bikers wasn’t Sophie’s plan for her son, but Ruger isn’t giving her a choice. He’ll be there for Noah, whether she wants him or not. But Sophie does want him, has always wanted him. Now she’ll learn that taking a biker to bed can get a girl dirty in every way…

Know what is interseting? reading a book and knowing little about the world and falling so hard for it that you start wanting to know more about the lifestyle. I read Reapers Property and I was impressed so of course I wanted to read Reapers Legacy cuz I mean Horse, Bam Bam, Ruger....oh yeah Ruger.

I have read like legit literally read one other MC book and I was a bit disturbed but I LOVED it. The raw, gritty, nasty reality that people actually live this way. Reading Reapers Property I was sucked in hard core. Now with this book I am so invested and I am a bit scared that I am so turned on to this lifestyle. Well that and just Ruger.

I wasn't quite sure how this book would stack up against the first seeing as how I was so enthralled. Have I mentioned Ruger yet? Holy hot mother fucking biker! that is how!!!! I am pretty sure I needed a new set of undies a few times. Just so we are all on the same page let me put it to you this way. He has piercings like where it counts piercings and that alone gets me excited.

I guess I should tell you about the story right cuz that is what a review is for? well yeah its a great story but really RUGER! that is all that needs to be said seriously. Alright, geez
Okay so if you have read Reapers Property you know some of the guys, this is Ruger and Sophie's story and what a story it is. First lets start this off by saying that most of you know how I am opposed to older men and younger women correct? Well, I might...*cough* takethatbackcuzofRuger *cough*
let me explain. Alright I think old guys with younger women are gross, like IDK why but I do doesn't matter if the guy is like a year older than the chick just grosses me out. Ruger is older than Sophie but I dont know it didn't make me want to do this
That is a good thing. I have a theory
Joanna Wylde is a great writer, and ummmm yeah he has piercings in all the right places. Moving along. Ruger and Sophie have a history and not one that most would think. Sophie has a son with Rugers brother, but Sophie and Ruger have this like sexual tension between them. Oh man oh man I think the build up was great and then I believe I was doing this...
The story was just so raw and real. I wanted to choke Sophie a few times but I got where she was coming from. She has a kid that she needs to take care of and keep her head on straight but like her I could never resist Ruger. Let me just say that Ruger knows how to put it down! I mean belts, piercings, sheds...I need to move on!

What I loved is that we got to see more of the Reapers and their old ladies. I love the ladies they are so amazing and we are introduced to Sophie's friend Kimber whom I absolutely adored. She is like my BFF crazy and no holds barred. Oh and Em! I love that girl, I seriously want her to get a book because I love her and I need to know more about her and ummmm....yeah well I can't go further cuz SPOILERS and that I do not do!

Now you know there has to be drama because well they are an MC and that means drama. The drama in this book I was like OH SHIZZLE! SAY WHAAATTT?? OH MY FUCKING GOD SHE DID WHAT? HE DIDN'T! OH FUCK ME DIRTY THIS ISN'T GOOD!

All in all this book has it all. Dirty bad biker, drama, angst, lust, great sex, and a great cast of characters. The author has created a world in which I was able to understand this lifestyle just a bit better. This club is about family and family takes care of one another. They may be rough around the edges but they know how to take care of the things that are precious to them and will do anything to protect that. I love this damn club and if I wasn't married and they were real I'd be living in Idaho. Just sayin.
Now do I think you all should read this book!? Ummm hello have you read anything I wrote? HELL YEAH you need to read this. If you loved Horse and Marie I can guarantee you will love Ruger and Sophie! I mean seriously PIERCINGS, BELTS and well RUGER...nuff said

Damn it I know I need to rate the book and seriously do you even have to ask?
5/5 hearts

I didn't know if Joanna was going to do me dirty on this one like she did on the previous, Reaper's Property. You know dirty, raw, gritty, ugly, hot, erotic read. Oh, don't worry. She delivers, and delivers oh. so. well.

This book, I have to sadly admit with my tail between my legs, I may have liked more than I liked book one. And I LOVED Reaper's Property. I don't know what it is about Ruger, actually I think it may be all the piercings, whatever it is, please sign me up for more. He's so alpha. So .. just all around yummy.

And then you see his interactions with Noah, and swoon. I know, you don't swoon over a big badass biker, but .. yeah, I did. He is such a man whore, so when things started to play out, I wasn't sure how it was going to work. Way to throw a bucket of cold water on me mafia style Ruger, thanks for that.

I was all about what was going down in the shed, then BAM.. cold water in the face. I could not believe it. That flips a switch of hot to cold, immediately. And I can't blame Sophie's reaction at all. I would have reacted the same way. It was kind of insulting. Mr Cake and eat it too. I do absolutely love the relationship she forms with the old ladies though. I love how close they become. And I do have to admit, I do also love the little lessons that Ruger teaches Sophie about the club. They're not just an MC, they're family, they're safe, they have his back no matter what. I will also admit, I love that Ruger is there for Sophie, no matter what. Nothing like a little dose of being scared shitless to make you see what you want in life. How he stops denying what they have.

Way to man up Ruger, nicely done. And the shoulder tattoo.. I LOVE it. The patch, for both Sophie and Marie was priceless. Joanna does an amazing job on this book. It's an exceptional follow up. A book that no matter where I went or what I did, my head was still stuck with the Reaper's. Which, I must add, is not a bad place to be. Not bad at all.. This is another book that makes me wish my top of 2013 list isn't already written. This would have DEFINITELY made the list. This is definitely a new book obsession, every time I open a page of the Reaper's I get sucked in til it's over.

I gave this book 5 hearts also.. it too, deserved so much more!

Reaper's Property

Marie doesn’t need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one afternoon
doesn’t agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now.

But Marie just left her abusive jerk of an ex-husband and she’s not looking for a new man. Especially one like Horse—she doesn’t know
his real name or where he lives, she’s ninety percent certain he’s a criminal and that the “business” he talks with her brother isn’t
website design. She needs him out of her life, which would be a snap if he’d just stop giving her mind-blowing orgasms.

Horse is part of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, and when he wants
something, he takes it. What he wants is Marie, but she’s not
interested in becoming “property of”.

Then her brother steals from the club. Marie can save him by giving
Horse what he wants—at home, in public, on his bike… If she’s a very,
very good girl, she’ll get lots more of those orgasms only he can offer, and he’ll let her brother live.

Maybe.

HOLY CRAP. I was in need of gritty, raw, dirty MC book and holy crap on a cracker, Joanna Wylde certainly delivers! If my best of 2013 list wasn't already written up and about to be published for the blog, this book would be on it! HOLY CRAP!

I don't have enough good things to say about this book. I love Horse. I absolutely love him. I love the whole story of Horse and Marie. Well, without the Gary stuff, but everything else.. well, okay, even then too. But he handles it.

It's like he knew from that picnic table bikini moment, he knew she was his and he wasn't stopping until she wore his patch. They had some real ups and downs. And damn, that down when she refused his patch was low. I was so upset. In my chair yelling WHY MARIE WHYYYYY!

But then opportunity knocks. . . I could not BELIEVE what Horse did to get her in his bed. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Though part of me was actually laughing. I found it quite humorous. Though what happens once he has her there is anything but. And all the sudden, mousy like Marie becomes this gun toting, bad ass woman. And dear lord, the bonfire!! Wowza! That's hot!

I was getting so confused though, I didn't know who to believe when the drama was going down. DO we believe her brother? DO we believe Horse? Do we believe Max? What is going on???!?!? Part of me wishes that Horse and Max got into more when he took her home after seeing Horse at The Line..I mean, you can't say he didn't deserve it. That A-hole! But.. it all worked out. Especially in the end when Marie went all "pump fiction", Pic's words not mine, to protect her man. I love this book. And in fact, I think I found a new MC book to be obsessed with!

I gave this 5 hearts.. when really it deserves so much more.
