Shannon's Review of Wild Child by M. Leighton

Wild Child
By: M. Leighton
Release Date: Oct. 22, 2013

ABOUT WILD CHILD:

Jenna Theopolis has always known what she wanted.  Getting out of her small hometown of Greenfield was number one on her list of priorities.  Until she met Rusty Catron.

Rusty’s fun-loving personality was the perfect match for Jenna’s inner wild child.  But what started off as a summer fling quickly turns into something more.  At least it does for Jenna.

Rusty has lived with the ghost of his father’s abandonment since he was a child, but now he’s beginning to feel the crippling effects of his scars.  He wants to trust in Jenna, but deep down he doesn’t believe someone so wild and free can ever be tamed.

But tragedy strikes, pushing Jenna out of Greenfield and leaving Rusty with a choice to make—face his inner demons or lose the love of his life.  Forever.

Shannon’s Review:

First of all I need to proclaim my love for Michelle Leighton. I love love love love her so much. She is a great writer and for some of yall who have not read any of her books, SHAME ON YOU!!! Go and get one now!!!!

Ok now on to my review. This book to me back to the Wild One’s, which I utterly fell in love with. This book gives you more Trick and Cami, the cutest couple ever, and it gave you some old faces to love too. I feel like I have my completion of Trick and Cami. Now of Rusty and Jenna I could have more of them. I adore those characters.

Jenna is a smart, sexy, and wild child, hence the title. I found that I could live vicariously through her. If you’re not like her you have a friend like her. She always has your back and there no matter what. She is a strong girl for some of the things she has to endure.

Strong wild child sexy smart

Rusty is good-looking, fun, and rugged. He is a girl’s country boy dream. He is strong and determined but not sure of himself. Those pesky past like to rear their ugly heads sometimes. I am not going to lie when I say he seems like a good bed partner that is putting it nicely. Really though he is a girls dream.

This book was awesome. It brought characters back but it also moved forward with new/old ones. This book will make you cry. I couldn't imagine loosing what Jenna had to lose. You need to read this book and if you haven’t read The Wild One’s then you need to do that as well. I mean you can read it as a standalone but you will thank me if you do. The great thing is the next book we get to find out about Jenna’s brother. Then guess what??????? And another book after that one.
I am giving this book 5 hearts. Yes 5. See that I said 5 hearts. Now go get it. You won’t be sorry!!!!!

5/5
